Perhaps that's what our new year's goals should start with: Being truly content right where we are. Accepting ourselves & others just as they are. And loving ourselves and others without condition. Even just imagining what that would feel like, feels pretty freaking awesome.

Morning Prayers
On mornings when I can get my butt out of bed to come downstairs and check-in/ talk to the universe before the rest of the house wakes up, I like to read/say/pray these lines I wrote in my journal. They're sort of questions/ prayers/ affirmations that remind me of intentions I want to have for the day. Not so much a to-do list, but more a to-be list 🙂

If you're searching for a manual, endlessly listening to podcasts or books or whatever to give you the answer for what you should do next/ how should you find your purpose, know that there is no manual.
But there is advice, and you have guides/ angels/ ancestors/ your own intuition/ G(g)od, which will help you find the breadcrumbs so you stay on the path. Your path. Because that's all we can do, right? Keep following the trailmarkers, asking for help from our guides, adjust course when necessary, take a break when necessary. But just keep getting up and walking on our path.

Getting curious when you feel uncomfortable
If we can notice the things around us that make us want to look away, and then challenge ourselves to keep looking, that's when the healing can begin. That's when we can get curious about our discomfort, and then mindfully and consciously make a choice to respond in a way that celebrates love and life, instead of fear.
